Disability Equality Workshop

The institute will co-organize the Disability Equality Workshop with UNESCO from July 5 to July 6, 2019. The workshop aims to promote the development of equality and integration for persons with disabilities. It is designed to build an equal and diversified society and achieve the goals of UN’s sustainable development with focus on disability rights and gender equality.

Twenty participants were selected to attend the workshop, including policy makers, education practitioners, and IT and media employees. During the workshop, the instructor constantly stimulated participants to think deeply through interactive games, group discussions and case sharing based on information accessibility. This is very effective to increase the awareness of disability equality and information accessibility.
